Most people know me as a pharmacist. I spent years in a field where precision matters more than almost anywhere else — where a misplaced decimal point is not just an error, it is a potential catastrophe. That training shaped how I think about everything, including money.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something uncomfortable: a single paycheck, no matter how stable, is a vulnerability — not a security. The healthcare system I worked in was stretched thin. The cost of living kept climbing. And I had a growing family that deserved more than financial anxiety disguised as stability.
So I started building. Not prescriptions — income streams.
I launched Heavenly Joy Senior Care, an Adult Family Home in Olympia, Washington. I started selling books and planners on Amazon KDP. I built shops on Etsy and Merch by Amazon. I grew YouTube channels — including Funnysmartpets with over 2,200 subscribers. I explored trading, digital products, freelance consulting, and more. Some worked brilliantly. Some taught me expensive lessons. All of them taught me something I could not learn from a textbook.
